Police have executed a drugs warrant at an address in Richmond.
Following information provided by the community, officers forced entry to the residential property on Market Place yesterday morning (18 August).
They recovered a number of items relating to drug supply and drug use, including a white powder which has been sent for lab analysis.
Nobody was at the address at the time and an investigation is ongoing.
Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team, Response Team and Operational Support Unit all assisted in the execution of the warrant.
PC Lauren Batey, who was part of the operation, said: “Drug dealing will not be tolerated in Richmond and we would like to thank the local community for reporting their concerns to us.
“We are able to act when intelligence is received, and we encourage the local community to report any information regarding drug dealing in your local community.
